“Xaaynanga gii”FASHION SHOW Haida Gwaii

The Skidegate Adult Day Program Fashion Show April 13th 2019 at the George Brown Recreation Centre. All fund raised went to support the Skidegate Elders ADP. It was such an honour to go back to Haida Gwaii to show my fashions to the community I grew up in and to connect with the youth and elders. I want to thank Bab’s Stevens and the Skidegate Band Council for their support in the project bringing me there, providing the George Brown Rec Center venue and the lovely volunteers who decorated it. My hat is off to the organizers Kim Goetzinger, Denise Husband, Kim Gladstone, Lee-al Nelson, and all of the incredible models who volunteered, make-up artists and hair stylists. Last but not least Duncan White for the providing the wonderful music.
